This privacy statement describes how Animal Dental Chart Inc. (“ADC”, “We”, “us”) collects and uses the Practice registration information that you willingly provide on our website for our application, animaldentalchart.com.

This is information, some of which may not be available to the public, that you willingly provide to ADC in order to use and pay for your subscription services for our application, Animal Dental Chart. This privacy statement also describes how you can update this information.

The following statement also describes how your Practice data created when using Animal Dental Chart is kept secure with two-way encryption of data transfer and the use of enterprise class servers.

We automatically gather information about your Practice computers or devices using the Animal Dental Chart application such as each computer or device name and the version of Animal Dental Chart installed. This is used in running our Animal Dental Chart application.

Your subscription to Animal Dental Chart interacts with PayPal, an established PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processing vendor via SSL links. This vendor hosts and collects your payment information for the purpose of processing your subscriptions to the Animal Dental Chart application. We encourage you to read the privacy statement and security policies for PayPal before providing your payment information.

We use this vendor to manage processing of payments, refunds, and updates of credit card numbers and expiration dates. We do not store credit card numbers and expiration dates for the Animal Dental Chart subscriptions on our servers.

Third parties are never allowed to mine or scrape your Practice registration information or Practice data, as these are kept private on enterprise class servers with world class data security.

To prevent a potential privacy concern, we do not use cookies to track your previously entered Practice registration information on our website.

As for major banks, the ADC application will connect each computer, tablet, or device to world class servers over the web. Your data is securely transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) to our cloud platform, hosted in enterprise-grade data centers operated by Digital Ocean, a leading global cloud provider. The platform runs on redundant servers, so your service stays available even if one server fails, and each practice’s data is kept fully isolated from every other practice. Automated daily back-ups are performed and retained for 30 days. Our hosting provider's data centers are independently certified to industry security standards (SOC 2 and ISO 27001) with 24/7 physical security.

Access to your data is protected via login credentials that are forced to be random. This prevents bots which are automated malicious programs created by cybercriminals from guessing passwords by performing verb and numeric based attacks. Additionally, after 5 invalid attempts, access is suspended based upon the IP address of the offender. In summary, if external bots attempt to guess passwords to gain access, they will be banned by a commercial firewall.

World class security is also built in to every medical record created in ADC. Each medical record is saved on our servers and is time and date stamped with international time. It is also verified to have been digitally signed by Animal Dental Chart Inc. and that there has been no alteration of the file. This ensures all the medical records in ADC are legal documents, a requirement of veterinary licensing bodies.
